It was proved that twin calving has negative impact on milk productivity, reproductivity and estation efficiency when high productive animals in herds with annual milk production over 7.0 kg per cow are used. The average annual loss in a 100 cow herd resulted from twin calving is about 16.8 thousand roubles.
