Ecological functions of humus in optimization of fertility of sod-podzolic soil

Ecological functions of humus are determined by its influence on the direction and speed of transformation of organic substances released into the soil with plant residues of crops and organic fertilizers. Theoretical basis for the establishment of critical levels of humus content is changing the dynamics of its reserves in a clean pair of long (98 years) period. Set-It was found that cultures from different biological groups not only provide intake different content of plant residues in soil, but also determine the speed and directivity of their transformation. Cereal crops reduce the rate of decomposition of organic matter, and tilled it increase. Cultivation of perennial grasses provides effect accumulation of humus.
