Effect of long-term use of vermicompost on fertility of soddy-podzolic soil

The fertility of soddy-podzolic soil was estimated after long-term utilization of vermicompost for humify of ginseng. The agronomic property improvement was determined. The increase of quantity of humus and exchangeable cation was found. The decrease of actual, exchangeable, and hydrolytic soil acidity, as well as the specific activity of natural radionuclides was detected. Due to a great number of the microelements in soil, their total and acid-soluble amount is increased, but the mobility of the studied heavy metals is decreased.
