Content of radionuclides in soil on territory of the Oryol region

Within the limits of radio ecological monitoring of rural regions of the Oryol region in 2010 radiation monitorings and content research radionuclides in soils were spent. Platforms are surveyed: Droskovo (Pokrovsky area), Korovnik (Zalegoshchensky area), Domnino and Kurakino (Sverdlovsky area), Krasnaya Slobodka (Glazunovsky area), Lubjanki (Dmitrovsky area), "Yolochka" and Repnino (Bolhovsky area).
The maximum level of capacity of a gamma-radiations dose 20 mkR/h. (at height of 1,0 m over the earth) is established on platforms the Korovnik, Domnino, Repnino; values above 15 mkR/h. at height of 0,1 m were registered on all platforms. The content of radionuclides 137Cs, 40K, 226Ra and 232Th in tests of soils is defined. It is shown that prevailing radionuclide on all platforms is 40K (from 0,48 to 0,70 kbk/kg). The content 137Cs the greatest on platforms Korovnik (0,627 kbk/kg; density of pollution 3,80 Ku/km2) and Domnino (0,609 kbk/kg; density of pollution 3,88 Ku/km2). The calculated value of activity 90Sr changes from 0,055 kbk/kg on a platform Kurakino to 0,376 kbk/kg on a platform Korovnik. In all tests of soils concentration Cu, Zn, Cd and Pb – below maximum concentration limit.
