Estimation of action of zones of ecological distress on the health status of population (on an example of the Oryol region)

Given article is devoted to the research of the increased sick rate of the population of the Oryol region which is a consequence of action of local natural factors and human impact. Authors used materials of official statistics of area for 15 years (1992-2007) concerning diseases of respiratory organs, systems of blood circulation, digestive, urinogenital and endocrine system, of musculoskeletal tissues and tumors.
In separate districts we have compared a case rate to a case rate as a whole in area and Russia, have defined the periods of relative stabilisation, reduction or growth of illnesses, and also differentiated area districts on case rate level. The analysis of a medical-ecological situation has led to a conclusion that the case rate and adult population, and teenagers in area has a close connection with an ecological situation to what the raised indicators of ecologically caused illnesses testify.
