Study antagonistic properties of bacteria isolated from cabbage leaves |

The article presents data on testing the bacterial strains on the antagonistic activity against causal agent of black rot of cabbage. We used in the study 25 bacterias species of phylloplane’s cabbage. Assay of antagonistic properties of the strains was carried out in vitro by method of perpendicular strokes. Antagonistic properties have been found in the strain PS11 Bacillus pumilus.
The test strain PS11 Bacillus pumilus in vivo was studied on infected black rot of cabbage seedlings of hybrid Triumph F1. As a result of the experiment among the seedlings treated with PS 11 was less affected in contrast with the positive control.
