The efficiency of growing heifers when used in rations of condensed corn extract

Recently in Russia at a faster pace the pig and poultry industry, which accounts for the main consumption of coarse grains. In this regard, the share of farms specialising in milk production and the rearing of young cattle, the ever present problem of the provision of rations on a protein becomes even more acute. This situation makes necessary the search for new alternative sources of inexpensive protein that does not have nutritional value for humans. This goal, in our opinion, it corresponds to the inclusion in the mode of feeding cows by-product of starch production – of condensed corn extract, in unit mass of protein which contains one and a half times more than in barley. The cost per kilogram of protein condensed corn extract is lower than that of barley protein by 3-5 times. In addition, in a condensed extract contains about 20% of lactic acid, which energy value almost equal to the glucose.
