Proactive control in computer systems of agro-technological decision support on example of top dressing management

The authors propose a new method of proactive management of production process of agricultural plants. It is based on an operatively corrected forecast with the help of a dynamic simulation model of agro-ecosystem. A comparison of proactive control techniques with traditional methods of declarative and reactive nitrogen fertilizing management is presented. The trials of spring wheat cultivation in the fields of Men'kovo experimental station in the years 2006-2013 have been selected as reference data for the computer experiments.
