In the submitted article the question of formation of the machine and tractor park of farms taking into account a high level of adaptability of transport technological support to zonal and seasonal vari ations of an external environment is considered. In this regard use of system of indexes defining rational uses of agricultural machinery in technology of cultivation of agricultural production in specific conditions of operation is urgent.
