Methods of standardization of variables for multivariate statistical analysis of experimental data (for example, fruit plants)

The paper discusses the problem of multivariate statistical analysis of the data measured in different scales (nominal, ordinal, numeric), which is often observed when working with horticultural crops. To conduct multivariate analysis of the data should be unified into one scale. Developed original technique of unification variables (characteristics) considered in detail the algorithm of unification of the variables in nominal and ordinal scales. The best way of unification in the nominal scale is the coding of modality in the binary system, the ordinal scale – transformation modalities in the ranks.
