Rarionale of the area of solar panel for stand-alone solar power system

The article describes the main features of the determination of stand-alone solar power system parameters with consideration of diagram for loading, solar radiation intensity and ability to store the excess of energy in electrochemical batteries. The real diagram for stand-alone consumer loading is provided. There are also represented calculations of power produced by photovoltaic converters after its areal changes with the consideration of the real diagram for loading. The graphical method of finding the sufficient photovoltaic converters battery area is described. This article concludes that it is possible to control the scarcity and the excess of energy used for charging the electrochemical accumulators by changing the area of photovoltaic converters.
