Adaptability is late maturing and early maturing varieties of red clover seeds in the Middle Urals

In this comparison of ecological plasticity and stability of late maturing and early maturing varieties of red clover grown for seeds in the Middle Urals. Data analysis for yield showed that the late-ripening variety Perm local and early maturing variety Trio and Kudesnik equivalent in ecological plasticity. It is revealed that the varieties belong to intensive type, i.e. respond well to improved growing conditions. It is established that the magnitude of yield of seeds of red clover are largely influenced by weather conditions and to a lesser extent, the genetic characteristics of varieties. Early maturing varieties are less reduce seed yield in the most favorable years, have a high environmental resistance and short growing period. The range of indicators grade Trio is the most adaptive to conditions of the Middle Urals at cultivation on seeds.
