Factors affecting the growth and development of young cattle

Individual development of animals or ontogeny was studied by a large number of famous scientists. Over the past few decades, the intensive development of molecular biology and genetics, this theory of ontogeny began to be introduced most actively. Knowledge of the patterns of growth and development of animals deepened due to the emergence of proper molecular genetic methods, and all conditions appeared to manage these processes. Economic-useful characteristics of farm animals, such as milk, egg-laying, wool cutting, running speed are established under the influence of the realization of the heredity of the organism with respect to certain environmental conditions. The most important factors affecting the fattening and meat quality of cattle are considered to be pedigree age, gender, castration, feeding and maintenance conditions. However, most researchers believe that the growth and productivity of young animals by 70-75% depends on the conditions of feeding, by 20-25% - from breed and 3-5% of the conditions of detention.
