Experience in Obtaining Hyperimmune Serum for the Treatment of Viral infections in Cattle. Technological Aspects

Data of research the effect of different methods of obtaining serum on its nonspecific activity factors are presented in the article. It has been revealed the separation of the serum by centrifugation citrated blood with followed plasma defibrination causes a decrease globulin and lysozyme activity serum, compared with the serum that was separated by natural settling. The effect of preservatives on the factors serum non-specific activity have been identified. Research has shown that exposure to thimerosal and phenol on factors of activity serum is differently. The highest decrease globulin and lysozyme serum activity was noted in samples preserved with phenol.
