A comparative evaluation of the meat productivity of cattle of the breed is similar to that of various genetic and ecological generations in the conditions of the Northern Trans-Ural region

The article analyzes the productive indicators of livestock breeds in the manner of three genetic-ecological generations. Bulls of the second and third genetic and ecological generation showed higher rates of live weight due to their better adaptation to new environmental and economic conditions. Bulls of the third generation at slaughter at the age of 18 months were characterized by higher rates of meat production. Weight of carcass. received from third-generation animals was 289.1 kg, which is more by 13.2 kg, compared with the animals of the second generation. Bulls of both generations at slaughter at the age of 18 months were characterized by a high level of meat production.
