Economic and biological characteristics and selection and genetic parameters of black-and-white breed cows of different linear affiliation
On the basis of the conducted researches, ways of improving the productive qualities of black-and-white cattle have been identified, consisting in the use of the Holstein breed bulls up to the 4th generation in the breeding stock. A comparative assessment and a comprehensive analysis of economic and biological characteristics and selection and genetic parameters of black-and-white breed cows of various breeds and linear affiliation have been carried out.
