Kinetics of moisture homogenization in addition to the rationale of a mixer-averager capacity
The kinetics of moisture homogenizing in the proposed mixer-moisture homogenizer is considered when mixing soy-flour and dough components. Theoretical and experimental methods have been used to establish the dependencies characterizing the kinetics of moisture homogenization from diffusion process position. Optimum values of volumetric and mass flow of the mixer-homogenizer with an off-center axis of propeller rotation are determined.
