Ecological features of biological cleaning of soils polluted by petroleum products

The authors presented a change in the qualitative composition hydrocarbon contamination of soils of an industrial enterprise when they are cleaned with a biological product based on strains of aerobic hydrocarbon oxidizing microorganisms of the genus Pseudomonas. The effectiveness of using the «Naftox» product for destroying petroleum hydrocarbons is estimated. The initial principles for the development of an integrated technology for cleaning contaminated soils are formulated, taking into account environmental requirements and regional characteristics. The maximum degree of purification by content of the «oil products» fraction was more than 80%, the content of chloroform bitumen was more than 53%.
