Effect of micronutrients on potato yield in soil and climatic conditions of the Rostov region

The article deals with the results of studies on the impact of additional conditions of the technological cycle of potato cultivation in the form of the use of micronutrients in the form of foliar feeding on biometric indicators and yield, crop structure and quality in relation to early-ripening potatoes for technical purposes grown on irrigation in the Rostov region in the spring planting tubers. It was found that improvement of potato plants nutrition conditions with fertilization caused more intensive growth of vegetative mass. In the variants with foliar fertilization with chelated fertilizer plants exceeded the control variant in all respects. On the basis of the obtained data, it can be noted that the use of foliar feeding on vegetating plants with microfertilizers in chelate form better met the needs of potatoes in nutrients, increased individual productivity of the Bush, increasing the mass of tubers in the nest, the share of large tubers, the total yield. On average, for 2015-2017 years, a significant increase in yields from the use of chelated fertilizers was 9.3-20.7 t / ha. The application of foliar feeding allows to get potatoes with nitrate to environmentally safe level.
