Content of elements in plants of Geranium L. genus of Buryatia

The evidences of macro- and microelements's identification and those quantitative content in overground and underground organs of types Geranium L. genus are provided in article. Silicon (2170-10690 mkg/g), aluminum (570-4400 mkg/g), barium (9-353 mkg/g), strontium (79-230 mkg/), the titan (26-239 mkg/g) are accumulated in plants most of all. Less than 200 mkg/g are observed in various organs of plants of the following minerals: manganese (22-185 mkg/g), zinc (24-119 mkg/g), rubidium (3-41 mkg/g), copper (4,7-14,3 mkg/g), bromine (from less than 2,5 to 9,0 mkg/g), it is lame (2,3-8,1 mkg/g), nickel (2,0-4,8 mkg/g), zirconium (from less than 2 to 4,4 mkg/g), lead (from less than 2 to 3,3 mkg/g). It is determined that the greatest concentration of elements happens in underground organs. Domination of elements only in overground part is not found. The predominance of 13 elements only in the aerial part was not revealed. The exception is rubidium, the predominance of which in the aboveground organs in comparison with the underground ones is noted in 7 of 9 investigated species. Our results confirm literature evidences about elective accumulation of chemical elements by various types of plants.
