Productivity, structure and use of grasslands of Buryatia |

The article presents data on the studies conducted on natural pastures of the Republic of Buryatia. Knowledge of the information given in the article can help the cattle breeders of the republic to rationally and correctly use grasslands and, subsequently, it can lead to raising the quality of agricultural products. Based on the most common types of natural forage land discussed in the article, the author can conclude that in each zone of the Republic of Buryatia there is a wide variety of pastures that differ in the features of the vegetation cover, productivity and duration of use.
