Influence of the sowing time on the productivity, chemical composition and storage regime of the cobs of sugar maize
Spring and summer periods of sowing of sugar corn for continuous production of economical bovine ears for the purpose of their use in fresh form and for processing are determined. The influence of planting time on plant productivity, yield and chemical composition of corn cobs was revealed. It turned out that the timing of sowing affects only the content of sugars, the later the sowing period, the more they accumulate and slightly increase the shelf life in storage.
