Digital technologies in the innovative development of the economy of agriculture of the Republic Kazakhstan

The development of information technology in any country is inevitably associated with the active use of Internet resources. Over the period from 2005 to 2017, the growth in the number of organizations using the Internet in Kazakhstan amounted to 16.3 times. The largest number of organizations using the Internet is concentrated in the southern economic region of Kazakhstan (41.3%), in the northern region (29.8%), in the western region (13.9%), in the central region (8.6%) , in the eastern region (6.2%). The active use of information technology in work contributes to the growth of the country's economy. The size of the gross domestic product in the Republic of Kazakhstan in monetary terms increased 6.8 times. The volume of innovative products in Kazakhstan for the period under review has increased by 7 times, while internal R & D expenditures by regions and economic regions of Kazakhstan increased only 3.2 times. The number of employees engaged in R & D increased by 16.8%, including the number of specialists-researchers increased by 44.5%, doctors of sciences - by 64.4%, candidates of sciences - by 50.5%. The number of PhD partners increased by 20 times to the level of 2010. It is important to note that the rate of growth of the gross domestic product in Kazakhstan outpaced the rate of increase in the level of wages. Over the period from 2005 to 2017, the level of remuneration in the field of research and development increased 5.5 times, in the higher education system - 4.7 times. The largest share of R & D expenditures belongs to engineering and technology - 46%, then natural sciences - 33%, agricultural sciences - 9%, medical sciences - 5%, humanities - 5%, social sciences - 2%. To increase regional food security, the program for digitalization of agriculture and development of R & D has been launched in Kazakhstan to export products to foreign markets. R & D in the field of agricultural sciences in Kazakhstan as a whole accounts for the largest share of labor costs - 49.8%, other current expenses account for 29.1%, for services - 14.3%, for fixed assets - 6.8% . Further development of innovative activity in Kazakhstan, especially in the agricultural sector, strengthening of the material and technical and scientific base with strong state support in aggregate will contribute to increasing the country's competitive advantages.
