The effect of nitrogen fertilizer doses and planting rate on the yield and quality of early potato varieties in the Middle Preduralie

The paper presents the results of studies aimed to develop methods of early potato cultivation technology of varieties for the yield 35 t/ha. To achieve this goal in 2016-2017 three-factor field experiment was laid out for the study of early potato varieties, doses of nitrogen fertilizer and rate of planting on the educational-scientific experimental and training field of the FSBEI HE Perm SATU. The soil of the experimental site is sod-podzolic medium-loamy. Agrochemical parameters of the arable layer are pH - 5.0, P2O5 – 195.9 mg/kg, K2O – 89.3 mg/kg of soil, humus – 3.6%. The dose of application fertilizer, applied by hand before forming ridges was in the form of diammonium phosphate (N10P26K26), ammonium nitrate (N34), potassium chloride (K60). Potatoes are planted manually in pre-formed ridges on the marker, according to the scheme of the experiment. In the years with unfavorable conditions of moisture, the most productive potato variety was the Udacha variety that formed the yield of 23.8 t/ha, which is 12.3 and 13.4 t/ha more than the varieties of Red Scarlett and Rosalind. The planned potato yield of 35 t/ha has not been achieved.
