Piroplasmosis of dogs in the conditions of Tyumen

It is established that in the territory of the South of the Tyumen region the piroplasmosis of dogs has wide circulation. The peak of incidence of this invasion falls on the spring period (the end of April - the beginning of June) – 47,1% (465 animals) and the autumn period (August-October) – 49,3% (487 animals). The greatest percent of incidence, 39,5% (390 animals), is registered at animals aged from 1 up to 4 years. Most often the piroplasmosis occurs in dogs of office breeds: 52,25% (516 dogs). At primary infection of dogs the disease proceeds in a sharp form at 94% (928 dogs).
