Assessment of fertility of soils under cultivation of hungarian clover (Trifolium pannonicum Jacq.) in the south of West Siberia

Fertility of soils under cultivation of Hungarian clover (Trifolium Pannonicum Jacq) in Novosibirsk region was studied. Long term cultivation of clover did not change the content of total carbon and nitrogen in soil in comparison with the natural cenosis, despite the annual significant removal of these elements with above ground biomass. The highest yield of Hungarian clover in meadow agrocenosis was obtained under favorable moistening conditions and temperature regime for a 4-year life - 93.5 c / ha dry weight.
