Polymorphism of microsatellite Loci cattle of Hereford breed
It was found that the number of alleles at the locus in the studied cattle population is 6.93, while the effective alleles are 4.96, which is 71.6%. An increase in the number of alleles at the locus is accompanied by an increase in polymorphism. The highest level of polymorphism was characterized by the locus TGLA 53 (Ae = 2,3). The average level of heterozygosity is 0.77, the expected level is 0.692. The population has a high level of genetic diversity in the herd.
