Fattening and meat qualities of bull-calves of various genetic-ecological generations in the conditions of the Northern Trans-Ural region

The article presents the data of scientific and economic experience on the study of fattening and meat qualities of cattle of the breed in the second and third genetically-ecological generations in the conditions of the Northern Trans-Ural region. In the Tyumen region the breed takes 24% of the breeds of meat direction of productivity. The breed of cattle has high fattening and meat qualities. Bulls when growing and fattening on a mechanized platform reach a living weight to 18 months 491-510 kg. They received high increments in conditions of an open feedlot site. There is no significant difference in the magnitude of the live weight and meat productivity between generations. When slaughtering animals, heavy carcasses were obtained, with the optimal ratio of muscle and adipose tissue. It can be recommended to carry out the growth and fattening of gobies of the breed on the fattening grounds.
