Indicators of the exterior of bull-calves in the conditions of the Northern Trans-Ural region
The article presents data on the study of the exterior of meat bulls of the French root of origin: Charolais and obrak in comparison with the Hereford breed of cattle. The exterior is studied on the basis of measurements and calculations of the indices. It is established that breeds of cattle of French origin are formed in a tall, extended type of physique. The animals of Hereford breed are considerably compact in body type. All studied breeds of animals have a pronounced meat type of body.
