Development of large-scale digital model of automated soil-agroecological mapping in case of representative landscapes of the Vladimir Opolye

Alternative approaches in soil-agroecological mapping can significantly accelerate the modern GIS development, as well as improve the accuracy of simulated processes and decision-making. The results of the comparative analysis of simulation models for key areas of representative groups of soil cover patterns are considered. The authors propose a model of the relations between the relief morphometric characteristics and the agro-ecological groups of soil cover patterns, allowing the automated development of digital soil-agro-ecological maps.
