Peculiarities of restoration of the vegetative cover after low fires in the birch woods

The article considers the features of restoration of vegetation cover after grass-roots fires in birch forests of Isetsky district of the Tyumen region. The data of the studies were based on the analysis of departmental materials of the forest management of Isetsky Lesnichestvo: a book of fires, taxation descriptions of Isetsky Lesnichestvo. In fires of medium and low intensity, a partial damage to vegetation takes place in birch forests of mixed herbs, and a gradual restoration of pre-fire plant microassociations is observed. Such fires do not introduce significant changes in the horizontal structure of the vegetation cover but contribute to a greater growth of forest motley species. Based on the studies performed, it can be noted, it can be noted that grass-roots fires in the birch forests of the Iset region do not cause a massive loss of tree vegetation, but lead to changes in the ground vegetation, which is manifested in a change in the overall indices of its abundance, floral richness and the role of various ecological groups of plants in the community.
