Hardening of details of interface "the top head of the connecting rod - the plug of the top head of the connecting rod" engines a thermal diffusion fretting-titanizing as a way of reduction of process of fretting corrosion

In article the mechanism of emergence of a fretting, kinetics of development of damage of surfaces in the conditions of fretting corrosion, the major factors influencing fretting corrosion process are analyzed. It is shown that one of effective ways of fight against fretting corrosion is the thermal diffusion fretting-titanizing. As a result of processing of experimental data the mathematical model of dependence of an increment of the linear sizes of the studied samples on parameters of diffusive saturation is received. The optimum mode of diffusive saturation is set by ferrotitanium of details.
