The effect of unconventional feeds on nutrient digestibility of poultry

This article presents the results of the use of sorghum grain, instead of corn grain, in the feeding of young chickens of the parent herd of the cross "Haysex brown". The studies were carried out in the conditions of the second-order plemreproductor of the "Svetly of the Svetloyarsky district of the Volgograd region in the period from 2015 to 2017. The use of sorghum grain instead of corn in the composition of feed had a positive effect on the digestibility of nutrients, as well as the use of nitrogen, calcium and phosphorus by experimental chickens. At the end of scientific and economic experience of the live weight of the young birds of the control group was 1641,4 g, and in 1-, 2 - and 3 experimental groups were higher than in controls, respectively, 17,6 g, 65,71 g of 46,6 g. of Additional net income due to cost savings in feed for poultry in 1-, 2 - and 3 experimental groups ranged from 551,91-1255,00 rubles.
