The influence of golshtinization on the selection and genetic characteristics of cattle of black and white breed

The article is devoted to the consideration of the effect of the degree of golshtinization of black-and-white cattle on selection and genetic indicators. The analysis of changes in milk productivity of cows is given depending on the share of blood in Holstein breed. It was revealed that high-productivity animals are characterized by a high milk yield, production of fat and protein of milk for standard lactation in comparison with half-blooded contemporaries. The coefficients of variation of the milk characteristics and the correlation between them in the groups of cows with different heights differed insignificantly. Heritability indicators were more significant and allowed to make an accurate forecast on the increase in milk yield in the herd, taking into account the increase in the of genotypeof cows of holstein breed.
