Measures to protect the environment during the reconstruction of treatment facilities

By definition, wastewater is water used for domestic or industrial needs and has received additional impurities that changed their original chemical composition or physical properties, as well as water flowing from the territories of populated areas, industrial plants and agricultural fields as a result of precipitation of atmospheric precipitation. As a rule, discharge of effluents is carried out in natural reservoirs. To reduce the negative impact on the aquatic biocenosis and the ecosystem as a whole, various technologies for wastewater treatment are used. However, most of the sewer systems currently in operation need reconstruction. In carrying out such activities, a number of measures should be taken to protect the environment. Design solutions for reconstruction should meet modern requirements, facilitate the introduction of effective structures, as well as prefabricated enlarged elements. The article is devoted to the development of measures for the protection of the environment during the reconstruction of the treatment facilities of the municipal enterprise "Zavodoukovskoe housing and communal services" of the Tyumen region. It is shown that measures for environmental protection during the reconstruction and operation of WWTP should include both reclamation of soil cover and lands damaged during construction and operation of facilities, and processing of sludge of sewage in environmentally safe soils.
