Optimization of the technology of cultivation of fruit crops on the slopes of the Central part of the North Caucasus
In the 70-90s of the last century in Kabardino-Balkaria, a great experience was accumulated on the development of slopes for gardens. At the moment, it has become urgent to revive gardening on the slopes based on the use of modern innovations, taking into account the proper organization of the territory of the slopes. This is the placement of rows of trees across the slope (along the horizontals), in young gardens there is sow rowing, and in the treated rows there is growing siderats; in the fruiting age - natural sulking between the rows with herbicides in the rows. The use of apple varieties resistant against diseases on semi-dwarf rootstocks (MM106, CK-2, M7), an increase in the density of planting up to 800-900 tree / ha with spindle formation, annual pruning of trees, the use of complex fertilizers, including foliar nutrition, regulators growth, thinning of the ovary (manual or chemical) and other agrotechnical methods.
