Biological activity of sod-podzolous successed soil in the conditions of application of non-traditional fertilizers

This article discusses the change in the biological activity of sod-podzolic sandy loam soil under the conditions of using non-traditional fertilizers, such as dehydrated sewage sludge and coffee production waste. During the study, hydrolytic enzymes (invertase, phosphatase, urease) and redox enzyme (catalase) were identified. On the basis of the conducted research, it was revealed that the introduction of unconventional fertilizers into the sod-podzolic sandy loam soil enhances the enzymatic activity of the sod-podzolic sandy-loam soil, which expands the effective and potential fertility. The predominant groups in the experiment with sewage sludge and coffee production waste were bacteria. Actinomycetes occupy a large place among microorganisms. Bacilli are represented by various spore forms. Mushrooms are few.
