Geobotanical findings of coastal territory of the Kumo-Manychskaya depression water bodies
The present article comprises complex geobotanical findings of the western part of Kalmykia. Plant communities of coastal territory of the Kumo-Manychskaya Depression water bodies were explored, dominants of higher vascular plants were determined and vegetation condition was analysed. Variation pattern of the near-water vegetation conditioned upon periodically changing water level in lakes, complex terrain, lack of atmospheric precipitation, excessive solid disturbance and high air temperature was revealed.
