Photoperiodic regulation of growth and development Raphanus sativus in the temperate climate of Central Russia temperate climate during periods of leaf discoloration

The article presents the results of studies on the photoperiodic sensitivity of plants Raphanus sativus in a temperate climate of Central Russia. It is noted that photoperiodism is one of the most important physiological properties, on which the vegetative and generative development of plants Raphanus sativus depends. By changing the duration of daylight hours in an experimental setting, it is possible to regulate the ontogenesis of plants in the widest range — from maximum acceleration to complete suppression of the flowering phase, thereby ensuring the maximum mass of root crops and their good taste.
