The article results are given of many years of breeding work of the team of authors to create a new high-yielding variety of spring soft wheat Kinelskaya zarya. The main economic and biological characteristics of the variety, its yield, as well as technological and baking indicators of grain and flour quality are presented. The variety Kinelskaya zarya in the Samara region is characterized by a consistently high grain yield over the years of 2,19-3,75 t/ha and provides an annual yield increase over the standard Kinelskaya niva by an average of 0,23 t/ha. Is characterized by a stable strength of flour over the years (288-522 e.a.) and a high content of gluten in the grain (25,0-32,8%) of good quality (an average of 88 units IDK). The variety is designed for the production of food grains of high quality. Biological potential of the variety 6-7 t/ha.
