Assessment of productivity and adaptability of potato varieties of domestic and foreign selection in the Moscow region

The article presents the results of evaluating the productivity and adaptability of potato varieties of different ripeness groups of domestic and foreign breeding by the average adaptability coefficient obtained as a result of four years of research when grown in the north-west of the Moscow region. Using the average adaptability coefficient, the most adaptive potato varieties to local conditions are identified. It was established that the most productive and promising for use in potato growing in the north-west of the Moscow region were potato varieties: early - Latona and Udacha, mid-early - Bryansk delicacy and Nevsky; medium early - Bryansk novelty and Debryansk. The variety Zhukovsky early had the least adaptability to growing conditions and the external environment, and the variety Bryansk delicacy turned out to be the most adaptive.
