Mathematical model of yield forecast medicinal raw materials of the aboveground mass of common wormwood (Artemisia vulgaris L.)

The subject of the study is a wild coenopopulation of common wormwood (Artemisia vulgaris L.). The aim of the research is to develop a mathematical model of seasonal forecast of phytometric parameters of generative sagebrush shoot in wild coenopopulations for the Kostroma region. The research was carried out in the period 1995...2019 (the area of distribution of common wormwood in the Kostroma region) and 2016...2017 (collection of field information and development of a forecast model). As a result, it was found that common wormwood grows mainly in localities, on roadsides, landfills of solid household and industrial waste, river banks near settlements and other places where there are traces of human activity and can serve as an indicator of the presence of anthropogenic influence on phytocenoses. A mathematical model was developed for predicting seasonal dynamics of phytometric parameters of the shoot, predicting with accuracy: height-95.2...97.9%; above-ground active phytomass — 93.9...99.0%; leaf mass — 86.59...94.20%; stem mass — 93.53...98.81%. The model is recommended to be used when predicting stocks of medicinal raw materials of common wormwood (humidity 13%) in wild-growing populations for 2.0...2.5 months before the start of industrial harvesting.
