Experimental studies of the I – V characteristic of an electrocoronated filter

When using electro-corona filters for air purification in agricultural premises, it is necessary to correctly select the technological modes for different external working conditions. For the correct selection of the operating mode, it is necessary to know the current-voltage characteristic of the electro-corona filter. The article describes the influence of microclimate parameters in the room and the gas being cleaned on the current-voltage characteristic of the electro-corona filter. The results of experiments for the positive and negative corona current are given, as well as for different air flow rates in the electro-corona filter. It is established that for a negative corona the voltage and breakdown current are higher than with a positive corona and the higher the air flow rate, the lower the current and the higher the breakdown voltage
