Environmental class of modern agricultural tractors

The article deals with the problem of compliance of diesel engines of agricultural tractors with world environmental norms and standards. Statistical data and results of analysis of characteristics of modern domestic and foreign tractors that are widely represented on the Russian market are presented. The main ways of improving diesel engines in the direction of reducing the number of emissions of harmful substances into the environment are considered
