Experience and prospects of buckwheat cultivation in southern agricultural zone of the Amur region

In the course of the research, it was determined that the main task of cultivating buckwheat is to provide the population with dietary nutrition, while obtaining high-quality products and stable high yields. One of the main limiting factors for obtaining a high buckwheat crop is the weak adaptability of existing varieties and their relatively low productivity potential. As a result of the research, a modern variety of buckwheat Devyatka, suitable for cultivation in the southern agricultural zone of the Amur region, has been selected and recommended. Recommendations on the cultivation of this variety are given
