Effect of pre-planting tillage on stem density and photosynthetic activity of medium-ripened potato varieties

The article presents data on the yield, density, stem, leaf area, photosynthetic potential and its productivity, medium-ripened potatoes of the Lugovskaya ka variety depending on pre-planting plowing, milling and disking. The purpose of the research is to identify methods of pre-planting tillage that provide a yield of 30 t/ha. A one-factor experiment was conducted in a farm on sod-podzolic light loamy soil with a low humus content, medium reaction of the medium and high content of phosphorus and potassium. Weather conditions during the years of research were contrasting. The aim of the research is that the yield of 30 t/ha was achieved in the plowing variant, while the average potato variety needs to form 152 thousand stems/ha with a leaf area of 25.6 thousand m2
